Grannies Respond 2023

The week of January 6-13, 2023 Temple Beth El will be collecting for Grannies Respond/TeamTLCNYC, who have been helping the immigrants coming into the Port Authority (over 20,000 people from South and Central America have arrived since late spring). We will be collecting:

• Winter coats
• Hats
• Gloves
• Boots (all sizes, new and mildly-used)
• New underwear
• New socks
• Kids sneakers (new or used)

A volunteer from Northern Westchester, who work with Grannies Respond/ Team TLCNYC, will be driving our donations to NYC.

Collection bins will be by our front door (inside & outside) for the week.

Grannies Respond, www.granniesrespond.org is a 501C3 that “provides and elicits compassionate and respectful support for asylum seekers and immigrants who are seeking safety and security in the United States”. Team TLCNYC www.ttlcnyc.org is an affiliate group of Grannies Respond/Abuelas Responden.
