Sisterhood Women's Seder
with Rabbi Londy and Turia Stark
Thursday, April 3 at 7:00 pm
Join the Beth El Sisterhood in celebration of Passover at our Women's Seder. This evening, led by Rabbi Londy and Turia Stark, will tell the story of our Exodus from Egypt through the eyes of women. We are excited to welcome special guest, Beejhy Barhany, an Ethiopian-born, Israeli-raised chef, activist and author. Beejhy will share details from her own exodus and serve a delicious sampling of traditional Ethiopian Jewish food from her own kitchen and Harlem-based restaurant, Tsion.

The Jewish Holidays 201: Passover
with Rabbi Londy
Sunday, April 6 at 9:15 am
We are all familiar with the basic tenets of the Jewish holidays. But where do these observances come from, how do they differ and what are some often overlooked aspects which deserve our attention? Join Rabbi Londy in engaging with the core texts and traditions which provide so much of the depth and richness we associate with the Jewish holidays.
Light breakfast will be provided and sponsored by the Resnick Fund.
