12:00 pm Lunch
1:00 pm Program
Join Rabbi Jaffe in a pre-Shavuot discussion and learning session. Together, we will look at the story of Ruth, traditionally read for the Shavuot holiday. We will also discuss Shavuot traditions such as the counting of the omer, consuming dairy products and the conflicting narratives of what exactly was given to Moses on Sinai. Join us to learn more about one of the three most important biblical holidays, the pilgrimidge festival of Shavuot.
