Temple Beth El Early Childhood Center Summer Camp Information

"Summertime is fun time" and here at the ECC we are offering a 7-week camp program for the children entering the 2's, 3's and 4’s program in the fall. The camp is staffed with highly trained and experienced Early Childhood Educators along with college students who bring creativity and energy to every camp day.

Camp for the Incoming 2's

The incoming 2-year-old program is a wonderful introduction for children entering our 2’s classroom in the fall. It meets on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00-11:00 am.  This program is designed to help smooth the transition to the start of preschool in the fall. The children have fun while becoming familiar with the teachers, environment and routines. Parents/caregivers should expect to stay at camp for the first 2 weeks, to give campers the opportunity to gain comfort in a new place. Click here for the separation schedule. A specialist will teach music classes.

Camp for the Incoming 3's

The incoming 3-year-old program meets every day from 9:00-12:30 pm. The children spend most of their time outdoors in the playground, at the water tables, building with the large outdoor blocks, in the garden and snacking in the courtyard. A specialist will teach music and yoga classes. At 12:00, the children eat lunch indoors in the air-conditioned classroom. On Fridays, the children are in for a treat! Pizza and ices are on the menu. We also plan to have weekly themes such as Pirate Week, Beach Week and Rainbow Week.

Camp for the Incoming 4's

The incoming 4-year old program meets every day from 9:00 -1:30 pm. The children spend most of their time outdoors in the playground, at the water tables, building with large outdoor blocks, in the garden and snacking in the courtyard. A specialist will teach music and yoga classes and there will be walking trips into the town of Chappaqua. At 12:30, the children eat lunch indoors in the air-conditioned classroom. On Fridays, the children are in for a real treat! Pizza and ices are on the menu. We also plan to have weekly themes such as Pirate Week, Beach Week and Rainbow Week.
