A Gift of Chanukah Drive
To benefit teens in need
Collecting through November 30

At this holiday time of giving and celebration, do a mitzvah for the community.  Westchester Jewish Community Services is collecting new unwrapped toys for children of all ages.  In addition, we are collecting gift cards of $25 from any electronic, clothing, or general department store for the older kids and teens.  There will be a box in the great hall for toys.  Gift cards should be brought to the office.

The Great Lego Build: The World's Tallest Lego Menorah
Friday, December 7 at 5:00 pm

As a part of our Chanukah festivities, we will be building the world’s tallest LEGO menorah in the Social Hall! This is an opportunity to have the Beth El community work together to create something beautiful, in the spirit of the holiday. There will be continuous building between 5:00 and 7:00 pm, and we encourage everyone to stay for the duration, so they can see the final product at 7:00 pm! Following the construction, we will be lighting the menorah and saying the blessings.

In the Social Hall, there will be a designated area for ECC families. We have secured the larger DUPLO LEGOs for the youngest children to provide them with a safe activity. Our participating young families attending the 5:45 Tot Shabbat are welcome to leave for the service and then return to keep building!
